Amy Amy Janet JanetAubrey Plaza was born on June 26th April 1984. She is an American actor and comedian, known for her witty humor. Her character is April Ludgate on "Parks and Recreation." After performing improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, Plaza was the first to make her web TV debut on "The Jeannie Tate Show." She went on to perform in Juddah Apatow's "Funny People" and "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" later in her professional career. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington, Delaware, the daughter of the attorney Bernadette and financial specialist David Plaza. Her father is Puerto Rican, while her mother is Irish as well as English. Plaza received her education from an all-girls Catholic institution in the year 2002, and then the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University in 2006. When she was in her senior year at her high school years, she served as president of the Student Government at her school. She also performed in Wilmington Drama League performances. Plaza suffered a stroke in 2004 when she was enrolled in her sophomore year of her college career. She was diagnosed with expressive aphasia. She also experienced briefly weakness. She is now fully recovering.
